viewing structures at market square

Designed to manipulate views of and from this office window in Market House, this structure found its form from derivative A-frame and ruling experiments. The structure is oriented and built to deny views through it when viewed from South Main Street but becomes increasingly more transparent as the viewer moves around it towards the front and west sides.

The installation is an occupiable structure of 1x3 furring strips that have been finger-joined at various heights and notched into triangular footings to articulate its characteristic form.
